Back in March of 2014 I googled “How to make money from home” and down the rabbit hole I went!
It was early morning about a week earlier and for whatever reason the coffee didn’t taste good that day and change was in the air. You see I’ve never been a drama guy but the office just seemed so full of drama during that time. Everyone was complaining about something!
You see, I was working as a collection manager for a 3rd party collection agency at that time. I just had a 10 year anniversary a couple months earlier where the owner gave me a huge hug and said “Great 10 years! Let’s go get another 10!”
Well that statement was ruminating through my mind that one gray day morning in the Pacific NW. While sitting there with my wife my mind started working on a way to leave that job. A form of self protection I’d later assume.
I was done. Officially burnt!
So I did what most every responsible person doesn’t do, I QUIT!!
I absolutely love building sales teams and helping people create their first deposits. A lot of times it’s the 1st time someone has ever generated money in a way that wasn’t a traditional job. Soon after starting my search I discovered that this was going to be a personal development journey for me. I was 41 years old when I quit that career and googled “How to Make Money online”. I didn’t understand the journey that I launched by doing so. It certainly hasn’t been all glory and commissions. Here we are though, 8 years later and boss free since 2015!
I’ve learned this about myself. I can’t drink alcohol and succeed. Some can, I won’t. After a life of indulgence I decided to quit drinking in the summer of 2019.
Everything in business and life has changed since then. Our Life Insurance agency’s production has grown 600%+ and Success Driven Results LLC is forming its online marketing identity inside the Insurance industry.
So many of the entrepreneurs that we are now locked arms with are such wonderful, amazing, hard working people. The ones that make it seem to all have figured out that fixing problems and serving people is the way to succeed!
